Our story

Made by a family who loves fiber.

Crochet Bobble is a Rush Family Fiber project — built to make learning to crochet feel like having a patient friend sitting right beside you.

We kept watching the same thing happen: someone gets excited to learn crochet, buys a hook and some yarn, opens a pattern — and hits a wall of abbreviations with no idea where to start. The tutorials assume you already know the basics. The patterns assume even more.

So we built the thing we wished existed: a coach that starts at the very beginning, moves one stitch at a time, and never makes you feel behind. Lessons you can actually follow, patterns that unlock as you grow, and charts drawn to be read — not decoded.

It's made for real hands, too. Left-handed? Everything mirrors. On the couch with no signal? It works offline. Because learning something new should feel calm and doable, not overwhelming.

When does Crochet Bobble launch?

We're aiming for Winter 2026 — the final stitches are going in now. Join the waitlist and you'll be the first to know the day it opens, with founding-member perks for early sign-ups.

Do I need any experience?

None at all. Crochet Bobble starts at the very beginning — how to hold the hook, make a slip knot, and pull your first loop. If you've crocheted before, a quick placement check can skip you ahead.

What supplies do I need?

Just two things to begin: a 5 mm (US H-8) crochet hook and a smooth, light-colored medium-weight yarn so your stitches are easy to see. That's genuinely it — hook sizes and yarn weights are all explained inside.

I'm left-handed — will this work for me?

Yes. Set your handedness once, and every lesson illustration and pattern chart mirrors to match. What you see on screen is exactly what your hands do.

Does it work on my phone?

It's built for your phone first. Add it to your home screen and it behaves like a real app — including offline, so your lessons and patterns are always with you.

Can I use it on a computer too?

Absolutely. It works in any modern browser on desktop or tablet, and your progress follows your account across devices.

What if I get stuck on a stitch?

Every stitch has its own reference page with steps and diagrams, and lessons are yours to repeat as many times as you need. Frogging (pulling it out) is always allowed — that's how everyone learns.

How much does it cost?

What we collect at this pre-launch stage — and what we don't.

Crochet Bobble is being built by Rush Family Fiber, a sole proprietorship registered in Colorado and based in Highlands Ranch.

This is a pre-launch page. The app isn't open yet, so there's very little to tell you — which is a nice position to be in, privacy-wise.

What we collect

Your first name and email address, if you join the waitlist.

Basic technical information when you visit — things like your IP address, browser type, and which pages you viewed. This comes from ordinary web server logs and aggregate traffic statistics, and it tells us the site is working and roughly how many people are finding it. We don't use it to build a profile of you.

That's the whole list. We don't ask for your address, phone number, date of birth, or payment details. We don't collect location data.

Why we collect it

To let you know when Crochet Bobble launches, and to send you the occasional update on how the build is going — if you asked us to. That's the entire purpose.

Who we share it with

MailerLite — our email service. They store your name and email address and deliver our messages.

Netlify — our website host, which handles hosting and technical logs.

We share your information with no one else, except where the law requires it.

What we don't do

We don't sell your information. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone, ever.

We don't run advertising trackers or ad networks on this site.

We don't use your information to train AI models.

We won't pass your email along to another company, however friendly.

How long we keep it

Your name and email stay on the waitlist until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. If we somehow haven't launched and you've heard nothing from us in 18 months, we'll delete your details rather than sit on them indefinitely.

Server logs are kept briefly and then discarded.

Your choices and rights

Unsubscribe any time. Every email we send has a working unsubscribe link at the bottom.

You can also ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy of it. Email hello@crochetbobble.com and we'll sort it out — within 45 days at the outside, usually much sooner. We won't charge you and we won't treat you any differently for asking.

If you're in Colorado, these are your rights under the Colorado Privacy Act. If we ever deny a request, you may appeal by emailing us with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line, and if you're still unsatisfied you can contact the Colorado Attorney General at coag.gov/file-complaint.

If you're in California, these are your CCPA/CPRA rights. To be explicit: we do not sell or share personal information, and we don't collect sensitive personal information.

If you're in the EEA or UK, you have your GDPR rights, including the right to complain to your local supervisory authority. Please note we're based in the United States, so your information is stored and processed here.

We honor Global Privacy Control signals.

Children

This site isn't directed at children, and please don't join the waitlist if you're under 13. When the app launches it will be for ages 13 and up.

Security

We use reputable providers and serve this site over HTTPS. We're a small operation rather than a company with a security team, so we won't promise the impossible — but there is genuinely very little here to lose at this stage.

Changes

When Crochet Bobble launches we'll replace this notice with a fuller Privacy Policy covering everything the app does. If you're on the waitlist, we'll email you when that happens so you can read it before signing up for anything.

This site is operated by Rush Family Fiber, a sole proprietorship registered in Colorado and based in Highlands Ranch. By using it, you agree to these terms. They cover this website only — when the Crochet Bobble app launches it will have its own Terms of Service, which you'll agree to when you create an account.

What this site is

An informational page about an app that isn't finished yet. There's no account to create, nothing to buy, and no service being provided. If you've joined the waitlist, that simply means we'll email you when there's news.

Things will change

Crochet Bobble is in active development. Anything here about features, content, tiers, pricing, or timing is our current plan — not a promise. Features may change or be dropped, prices aren't final, and launch dates move; that's the nature of building something. Any screenshots show work in progress and won't match the finished app.

Please don't make decisions that matter to you based on a launch date we haven't committed to.

Our content

The Crochet Bobble and Rush Family Fiber names, our logo and mascot, and the text, images, screenshots, and design on this site belong to us. Please don't copy, republish, or use them for your own purposes without asking first. You are very welcome to link to us and to share the site with anyone who'd enjoy it.

What you agree not to do

Please don't attempt to break into or disrupt the site, scrape it with automated tools, submit false information or someone else's email address to the waitlist, or use the site for anything unlawful.

No warranties

This site is provided "as is." We don't guarantee it will always be available, accurate, or error-free, and we make no warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site, and our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to fifty US dollars ($50.00). Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Links to other sites

We may link elsewhere — yarn shops, resources, our own social media. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any dispute will be brought in the state courts of Douglas County, Colorado, or in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. Either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court.

Before filing anything, please just email hello@crochetbobble.com. We'd far rather fix your problem than argue about it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continuing to use the site means you accept the update.
